1.1.26 marks 10 years in recovery- a huge milestone I can hardly believe I achieved. ✨

I absolutely didn't do it on my own, and am so grateful to my friends, family, and partner for always supporting and uplifting me.

Here's what I know: recovery doesn't protect us from life.

Just because you choose a new path, doesn't mean the road will be free of falling rocks and debris.

Existence is absolute chaos, so you must hold on to the beauty with both hands and when it's darkest, remind yourself that things always change.

My word for 2026 is GUMPTION, which means: spirited initiative and resourcefulness. 💥

Because I've not gotten where I am by playing small or by staying silent.

The last 10 years of my life have been dedicated to unpicking the truth of who I am, and learning to ignore the voices of past abusers that I thought were my own. ✨

I've built a whole life and businesses in a foreign country, and when I moved here, I knew one person.

And the truth is, I've always been afraid. Of everything.

But I've learned to metabolize it, to turn it into fuel. 🔥

Each hater, each doubter, each setback, they only serve to strengthen my resolve.

I choose to believe that we all have a purpose, a unique reason for being here, now.

And to doubt, to minimise, to turn our backs does a disservice to the world, and serves a slap in the face to those who haven't been so lucky, who aren't here with us now. ✨

We all have unique experiences, skills, talents, and dreams.

It's for a reason. 🙏

So this is the underpinning of all my work.

What I can do, is see you. I hear what you mean to say, behind your words.
